In un passato non troppo remoto, l'Armageddon (Apocalisse) si abbatté sulla terra distruggendo la maggior parte del mondo e della sua civilizzazione. Oggi, invece, Vampiri e Cyborgs creati usando la Tecnologia Perduta risiedono sulla terra insieme ai così chiamati Terrani. Nella città di Istvan, il Marchese d'Ungheria pianifica la sua vendetta per la morte dell'amata moglie, e per farlo, vuole utilizzare un'arma leggendaria, sempre costruita grazie alla Tecnologia Perduta. Abel Nightroad ha il compito, assegnatogli dal Vaticano, di fermare il Marchese e si allea quindi con Sorella Esther per portare a termine la sua missione.
